HSBC

Senior UX Designer- 2014 - 2015 / 2016 - 2017 / 2018

HSBC (The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation) is a global financial services group and bank that offers a range of services to individuals, businesses, and governments.

I worked with several agencies on multiple HSBC products over several years,

always with a new team and always contract won based on experience, not contacts.

Mobile App

I was responsible for helping to create the first native mobile app for HSBC.

The project cemented the need for a robust design system and council.

The app was well recieved and the reviews on the app stores ranked it very high on its release.

Tech Stack flow

I truly believe in the importance of UX understanding from the ground up what the project requires and how information is pulled and pushed.

Working with developers etc, the importance of creating a flow like this allows open and clear discussion between all interested parties, from PMs through to tech writers and SMEs.

Kanban inspiration

Why not give the customer a simple to understand display of what needs their attention and what is working, this design really performed well in user testing.
